Blow-up races dribble into high school basketball games

by Travis Schallenberger, Kendra Matthews and Tracy Wilson

Area businesses and organizations sponsored participants in a blow-up race that took place between the varsity basketball games versus Jordan on January 24th at Carter County High School. Each sponsor dressed up in a blow-up costume while they were attempting an obstacle course.

The blow-up race was an entertaining way to get the community involved with CCHS basketball games and brought in many more spectators. The winner, Josh Norris, was in a blow-up chicken costume, representing the Carter County Sheriff's Department. Norris took home a custom made "World Champion Belt."
