EPEDC to host funding workshop for small business owners, ag producers

Eastern Plains Economic Development Corporation (EPEDC) in conjunction with Great Northern Development Corporation (GNDC), Montana Food & Agriculture Development Network (FADC), and USDA Rural Development (RD) are pleased to provide an informative funding workshop on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 for small businesses and ag producers in Eastern Montana and Western North Dakota. The workshop will share helpful information and guidance for businesses and producers that are looking to expand their operations, improve energy efficiency of buildings, and learn more about renewable energy.

There will be two sessions during the workshop:

The morning session will be held from 10:00am-11:45am. Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) will share available funding through their assistance program that improves energy efficiency. They will also share how renewable energy can fit into existing operations.

The afternoon session is from 1:00pm-3:00pm. Information on the Value-Added Producer Grant (VAPG) will address how producers ready to expand can capitalize on planning or working capital assistance to increase customer markets and sales.
