CCHS Volleyball wrapped up regular season play with matches versus Forsyth on October 24th in Ekalaka and at Wibaux on October 26th.
The JV girls lost to Forsyth in three sets; 18-25, 22-25, and 13-15.
The varsity Lady Bulldogs dropped their match to Forsyth on senior night in four sets; 21-25, 18-25, 25-18, and 19-25. As a team, CCHS had 8 aces, 33 kills, 6 blocks, 61 digs, and 25 assists. Ayla Yates led the team in aces (4) and Danica Shepherd led in assists (21). Nasya O'Connor led in kills (15) and had all 6 blocks for CCHS. She also tied with Kendra Tooke for a team high in digs (12).
CCHS' JV netters finished their season on a high note by defeating Wibaux's JV girls in three sets; 25-21, 25-16, and 15-8 on October 26th.
The varsity squad followed suit by wrapping up their regular season with a three-set match win in Wibaux; 25-14, 25-15, 25-19.
Nicole O'Connell led CCHS in aces at Wibaux with 4 of the team's 9. Yates had 7 of 23 digs and Shepherd had 12 of 14 team assists. O'Connor had 12 of 26 kills and 5 of 8 blocks for the Lady Bulldogs.
CCHS will head to the District 2C volleyball tournament in Glendive this weekend as the number 6 seed. Their first match is against Broadus on Thursday.
