Bulldogs fall to Wildcats

The Bulldog football team suffered a conference loss to the Circle Wildcats on September 21st in Circle.

The Bulldogs had the first possession of the game and started at their own 15 yard-line. They were able to manage two first downs on the ground but eventually turned the ball over on downs at their own 37-yard line.

Circle then capped of a six play drive with a 21-yard touchdown run to take the early lead. They never looked back.

Over the next three quarters the Wildcats chewed up yards on the ground and through the air on offense while their defensive tackles and linebackers ate up Bulldog backs in their own backfield. CCHS linemen just weren't able to get enough push up front for the 'Dogs ground and pound to get going.

Circle scored early and often. The Bulldogs were held without points until the 2:35 mark of the fourth quarter when Chace Loehding connected with Preston Jensen on a 39-yard touchdown pass. The Bulldogs lost by a final score of 42-6. This Friday at 7 p.m., CCHS hopes to right the ship when they take on Culbertson at Rowley Field for homecoming.
