Large crowd attends annual association meeting

A large crowd of members were in attendance for Dahl Memorial Healthcare Association's annual meeting on September 19th at Carter County Events Center.

Board Chair Georgia Bruski opened the meeting by providing a brief history of the association. Afterwards, Dahl CEO Darrell Messersmith spoke briefly on the association's financials and how Critical Access Hospital operate and are funded.

Messersmith then recognized employees for reaching milestones in service to the association. Employees recognized included Anna Raff for five years of service; Dawnette James, 5 years; Sharon Baker, 10 years (17 total); Katie Stieg, 15 years; Virginia Rychner, 15 years.

Dahl's Chief Medical Officer Carla Dowdy then spoke on behalf of the medical staff, providing updates on the clinic in addition to highlighting services and staff that have been added in the last year.

All three incumbents (Georgia Bruski, Troy Fruit, Jitt Schneider) were re-elected to the association's board at the September 19th annual meeting.
