Big Mac's Pumpkin Patch opening this weekend

Are you ready for Big Mac's Patch 2024? The bale maze is back and bigger than ever. Have fun weaving your way through the 305 bale challenge!

If you have not heard of the patch before, this will be the sixth year that the traditional pumpkin patch has been open with lot's of fun outdoor activities, delicious fall goodies, a large straw castle, hayrides, bouncing horse races, prairie golf, a 100 foot zip line and more. Paint ball maze wars have also been added this year.

The patch also has special night activities planned. These include a fun, fall night for adults and popular haunted nights for those who enjoy the thrill of being frightened.

The patch will be opening Saturday, Sept. 28th and Sunday, Sept. 29th, with regular operating hours from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. each weekend through Oct. 26th and 27th. Cover charge is $12 per person, or $50 per carload, which includes all activities.

Traditional pumpkin and fall snacks, including delicious pumpkin bars, funnel cakes, pumpkin pie, spiced bonfire crackers, specialty honey items and more will be available. Fall drinks will include flavored coffees, tea and cider.

Special weekend events are bigger than ever and are as follows:

Sept. 28 and 29 - Open 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Oct. 5 - Adult night. Enjoy a unique date night without the littles. We will have a bonfire, scavenger hunt, shadow charades, snipe hunt, games and more. Begins at 7 p.m.

Oct 5 & 6 - Open 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Come and enjoy some live music for your listening pleasure and for teenagers or teenagers at heart, paint wall bars from 2 to 4 p.m.

Oct 12 & 13 - Open 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. - Painting with Mystic Canvas - Kayla Heiser will be there to guide you in creating cool fall art including her popular sip-n-paint.

Oct 19 & 20 - Open 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. - Daytime 2 - 4 p.m. Paint Ball Wars and Zombie Paint Ball at 7 p.m. Dress up and hunt the zombies.

Oct 26 - Saturday night, 7 - 10 p.m. Night time haunted hayride and bale maze.

Oct 26 & 27 - Open 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Dress up and trick-or-treat.

Nov 2 & 3 - Possible bonus weekend.

Big Mac's Patch is located at the Donald & Laurie MacKay Ranch, 18 miles south of Baker, at 316 Scorio Butte Rd. Signs will be posted.
