The entertainment for the Days of '85 Gospel Sing this year has local roots. Next Journey Quartet was begun in 2001 by four men with a love for Southern Gospel music and the desire to share the message of the Gospel through music.
Through the years, they have experienced many changes in their membership. Cam Larson and Michael Jewell are original members of the group, Aaron Roberts has been with them for 16 years, and Curt McCamish is the newest member. McCamish was born and raised in Carter County and is a 1977 Carter County High School graduate. His parents are Tom and Mary McCamish.
All four members of the group attend local churches in Billings and are actively involved in numerous ministries of the church.
The annual Days of '85 Gospel Sing takes place each year on the outdoor stage next to the First Baptist Church in Ekalaka. The concert is set to begin at 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 10th. Everyone is invited! Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and make yourself comfortable on the lawn. Refreshments are provided. For more information call 406-775-6760.
