Congregate meals set to begin again

Lily “Eileen” Treadway has been awarded the Carter County Congregate Meal Bid for fiscal year 2024/2025.

The meals will be served Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., beginning Monday, July 22nd.

Federal regulations and changes have led to raising the suggested meal price to the actual price the county pays. Therefore the suggested donation will be $15.00.

If you are over 60 or the spouse of someone who is, please pay what you can. Guests under 60 pay the full price.
