Visit Southeast Montana announces new executive board

Visit Southeast Montana announces the new Executive Board of Directors for fiscal year 2024-25. Jessica Malone, chair, represents Powder River County; Sabre Moore, past chair, represents Carter County; Morgan Belveal, vice-chair, represents Musselshell County; and Ali Baue, secretary/treasurer represents Treasure County.

Michelle Williams, executive director of The Depot in Billings, joins the Board of Directors as representative for Yellowstone County. Other members of the Visit Southeast Montana Board of Directors include Jamie Redger (Big Horn County); Shawn Backbone (Crow Tribe); Angela Mendoza, John Laney and Vicki Leesburg (Custer County); Tersea Olson (Dawson County); Melissa Rost (Fallon County); Norma Trent (Musselshell County); Russel Schwartz (Prairie County); Kathy McLane and Jennifer Anderson (Rosebud County); Tori Wyman (Wibaux County).

The Board also includes ex-officios Alyson Eggart of Visit Billings CVB; Brian Burky of Montana Fish, Wildlife and Park – Region 7; and Becky Rosenleaf, Liaison for Billings Chamber of Commerce.

The Visit Southeast Montana geographical region encompasses the Crow and Northern Cheyenne reservations plus 13 counties: Yellowstone; Golden Valley; Musselshell; Treasure; Rosebud; Prairie; Dawson; Wibaux; Fallon; Custer; Carter; Powder River; and Big Horn. The organization is funded by a portion of lodging revenue collected within the region and is managed by the Billings Chamber of Commerce.

Visit Southeast Montana operates under this mission statement: To increase visitors to Southeast Montana by increasing awareness of our region, showcasing our cultural heritage, developing memorable experiences and educating our residents about the economic benefits of tourism.
