Doug Beach

Funeral Service for Doug Beach, 48, of Ekalaka will be held 10 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2024 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Ekalaka. Burial will follow at Beaver Lodge Cemetery.

Visitation will take place one hour prior to service.

Doug Ray Beach, 48, of Ekalaka passed away June 12, 2024 at his home in Ekalaka.

Doug was born on December 24, 1975 to Babe Beach and Rhonda (Myhre) Beach. Doug, his twin Dan and brother Jay grew up mostly in Ekalaka and attended schools in Carter County. He graduated from CCHS in 1994 and chose to serve his country by enlisting in the US Marine Corps. After being trained as an ordinance specialist, he served in the Gulf War and was honorably discharged after 4 years obtaining the rank or Sergeant E-5.

After his service, Doug did several jobs including construction and factory work in Aberdeen, SD and Baker, MT. He then went to Helena, MT for college where he got a degree in communications. Afterwards, he took up welding for ironworkers union, boiler makers union, and finally ending at a welding and fabrication company in Belfield, ND. Doug's greatest achievement was the birth of his daughters Shianne and Sheridan who he was extremely proud of. Doug enjoyed the outdoors hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his pets Nute, Boog, and Grammy.

Doug will be missed greatly by his daughters, Shianne Beach and Sheridan Beach; parents, Babe Beach of Miles City and Rhonda Myhre of Ekalaka; brothers, Jay Beach of Ekalaka and Dan (Heidi) Beach of Ashley, ND; nieces, Kebba and Keeda Beach of Ashley, ND; grandmother Lenore Beach of Ekalaka; numerous cousins.

He is preceded in death by grandparents Fern and Roger Myhre and Clifford Beach; aunts, Jan Bickle and Eloise Beach ; Uncle Arny Erickson; Cousins, Becky (Beach) Coisnan and Megan Erickson

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Doug Beach Family.
