EPEDC announces hiring of new food and ag development center specialist

The new Food and Ag Development Center specialist with an emphasis on specialty crops is Hannah Wichmann. The Eastern Plains Economic Development Corporation is enthusiastic to add Hannah onto the team to help add growth and development to the community. Her role will aim on providing support to specialty crop producers, local agriculture producers, and other value-added businesses in our region as they look to start, grow, and make valuable connections on their business journeys! Prior to becoming a part of EPEDC Hannah has recently moved from Minnesota where her family operated a cow/calf operation and she had graduated from South Dakota State University with a bachelors in Agricultural Communications and a focus in Marketing as well as Social and Digital media. While attending college she was dedicated to help a local small business while managing inventory and fulfi lling customers' needs.

The FADC is here to help Montanans innovate and grow businesses that produce and commercialize food, agricultural and renewable energy products, and processes. The FADCs support local businesses to create wealth and jobs for our communities, farms, and ranches while expanding Montana's value-added agriculture industry.

"I am happy to be of assistance to help small businesses and established businesses grow! I am fully here to help support and walk you through the process it takes to help you succeed at what you desire mostly."
