Traditional observance at cemetery

A local veterans group led in a traditional observance at Beaver Lodge Cemetery on May 27th in honor of fallen service members for Memorial Day. Originally known as Decoration Day, Memorial Day originated in the years following the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971.
