New pool committee seeking estimates

The new pool committee is currently seeking estimates for a new pool house, concrete work (not for the actual pool) and a fence. A drawing of basic plans is available at the Town Office for reference. Estimates/quotes need to be received by May 26, 2024. Please contact the town office, 406-775-8731, for more information.

The pool committee is currently planning to build a new pool in multiple phases, and members are hopeful that the first phase of the build, the actual pool, may begin as soon as this fall or next spring.

The second phase of the project is still under a planning process and might include the pool house, decking around the pool, fencing, etc. This is the phase of the project that the committee is hoping to receive ideas and estimates for. Interested parties should contact the town office for more information.

There are also plans for another fundraiser for the new pool. This fundraiser is tentatively scheduled to take place during the Days of '85 and might be a sort of "Hee Haw."

Lifeguards for this year have been hired and the current pool is scheduled to be open sometime around Memorial Day.
