Grant awarded for development of central trailhead near Terry

submitted by EPEDC

Eastern Plains Economic Development Corporation (EPEDC), along with Prairie County Economic Development Corporation (PCEDC), is pleased to announce the receipt of a $24,580 grant from the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife, and Parks (FWP) for the development of a central Trailhead serving current and future trails in the Terry/Prairie County area. This grant, awarded through the Trail Stewardship Program (TSP), will fund the construction of a group area and pavilion near 4 Corners.

The collaboration between PCEDC and EPEDC underscores their commitment to enhancing outdoor recreational opportunities and promoting the region's natural beauty. The new Trailhead will not only improve access to existing trails but also serve as a hub for connecting with nature and exploring the stunning landscapes of Prairie County. This project aligns with our goal of promoting economic development through outdoor recreation and highlighting the natural assets of our region.

EPEDC extends our thanks to FWP for their support and look forward to the positive impact this project will have on the community.
