BLM extends sequestration project comment period to May 17

The Bureau of Land Management has extended the public comment period again for the environmental assessment for the Denbury Carbon Solutions, LLC proposal to construct and operate a CO2 sequestration project in southeastern Montana. The additional 30-day comment period extension ends May 17, 2024.

The EA, applicable documents, and a venue for submitting comments are available on the BLM e-Planning page dedicated to this project at https://eplanning.blm.gov/eplanning-ui/project/2026556/510.

Written comments must be delivered/postmarked by May 17, 2024. Electronic comments may only be submitted via e-Planning. Hard copy comments can be mailed or hand-delivered during business hours (8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.) to the Miles City Field Office, Attention: Irma Nansel, 111 Garryowen Road, Miles City, MT 59301-7000.
