To all of the Graduating Class of 2024 in Carter County, MT

We are excited to announce the offering of three (3) scholarships! We take pride in our efforts through our Tobacco Prevention Program and this learning initiative is just one way in which we can support those efforts. Our scholarship is a little unique and different than others and we encourage those interested to check it out! Don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions. The application process is simple and here are a few highlights:

• Open to students currently residing and attending a home, country, or public school in Carter County, MT and will be Class of 2024 Graduate

• Be a graduating Senior Class of 2024.

• Each scholarship may be used at any College or Trade School of choice (in/out of state).

• Submission deadline for Application Packet is April 30th, 2024.

• Identify the College or Trade School anticipating attending in Fall 2024. *You are not fully committed to the College or Trade School listed in the application packet and you may change before disbursement of money is made to the school of final enrollment.

Vaccine Event *Date Change

The Vaccine Event scheduled for APRIL 24th has been changed to MAY 2nd . Change in date was due to PHARM406 scheduling conflict and we apologize for any inconvenience. All other details are the same. MAY 2nd at Event Center /Fairgrounds, Ekalaka, 11am-1pm Vaccines available will be: RSV, Pneumonia, Shingles, and COVID-19. Please remember to bring photo ID and any insurance card coverage you may have. Call us with any questions 406.775.6332.

Mobile Mammo Coach Bus Returning to Carter County!

Carter County Public Health welcomes back again the Mobile Mammogram Coach Bus to our community. We are excited to add a second location this year which is ALZADA June 26th, 10am- 5pm and June 27th EKALAKA 8am-1pm. Open to women 40yrs. and older. Don’t let the concern of cost deter you. There are options to help support getting this important exam whether you have no insurance or can’t afford copay. Call 406-237-4373 with questions and to schedule an appointment as they tend to fill up quickly.
