Extension gardening program in Ekalaka

The Carter County Extension Office and the Carter County Conservation District will be hosting a gardening program on April 29th at the Event Center. The program will run from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Topics covered will include garden soil basics, planting basics, season extensions/modified planting, rain barrels and water quality, growing and harvesting tips and tricks, and a demonstration on tree planting and fabric laying from the Conservation District.
