Dahl Memorial expands PT department

Brian Lucey, Rehabilitation Director at Dahl Memorial Healthcare in Ekalaka, recently announced the addition of new staff members and services at the facility's physical therapy department.

Abby Lucey PT, DPT

Abby has started part-time at the facility after recently taking a specialty course in women's health/ pelvic floor therapy. She is very excited to be able to add this niche specialty to the community. Abby can treat patients with pregnancy and postpartum issues, bowel and bladder incontinence, pelvic pain with intercourse, and many other pelvic floor dysfunctions. Please speak with your primary care physician for discussion and potential referral for PT services.

Thomas Lucey PT, DPT, FDN

Thomas started at Dahl Memorial in September of 2023 in a short-term role and has since decided to stay in Ekalaka as a permanent, full-time staff member. Thomas was recently certified in functional dry needling by taking courses in Denver.

Functional dry needling is an intervention using acupuncture style needles to help with pain, range of motion and function. Call or stop by the facility to set up a free screen/needle session to see potential benefits. Functional dry needling can also be incorporated into part of one's physical therapy plan.
