Join us at the Carter County Museum on Thursday, March 7, at 7 p.m. for our monthly Carter County Geological Society Meeting for a special presentation of Saints & Sinners by guest speaker Lauren Hunley. Meet a collection of colorful characters from our region. Some of these women worked within societal expectations; some intentionally pushed against these restraints. But all of these women lived life on their own terms, paving the way for women today.
Lauren E. Hunley has spent nearly 20 years in the museum field. Earning her Master of Arts in Learning & Visitor Services in Museums and Galleries through Leicester University in England, she's worked for both small museums and national museum service organizations. She is the author of 101 Museum Programs on a Shoestring Budget and has presented at numerous museum conferences. She is currently the Community Historian at the Western Heritage Center in Billings, Montana, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Mountain-Plains Museums Association.
This program also has a zoom option if you cannot join us in person at the museum. Please register at: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZcocOmqqD4tHNCQcCH4sjL9gwA5x97488z3#/registration
As a reminder, all Montana teachers can earn 1 hour of continuing education credits for attending this free program and others at Carter County Museum. This program will be followed by a short business meeting featuring new and upcoming projects at the museum.
