JV Bulldogs finish season

Bulldog fans were treated on February 9th at CCHS with a Boys C squad game versus the Jordan Mustangs. Blue outscored Orange 16-2 in the first quarter and went on to win by an eight-point margin. As a team, CCHS shot 9 of 22 from the charity stripe; Jordan went 10 for 21. Mustang Layton Murnion led all scorers with 20 points. Two Bulldogs scored double-digit points, led by 15 from Tiernan O’Connor who scored 7 from the line.

The JV Bulldog boys lost to the Mustang JV boys, 47-57, on February 9th. The Mustangs scored 26 points in the third quarter to blow the game open and held on in the fourth despite Bulldog Preston Jensen’s 12-point effort in the final frame. The ‘Dogs went 5-10 from the stripe; the ‘Stangs went 6 of 13.

The JV Bulldogs won by a wide margin in their final game of the season at Wibaux on February 10th, 59-28. Ten ‘Dogs scored en route to the victory as the team went 8-12 on free throws. Bulldog Roger Beach led all scorers with 18 points.
