'Dogs wrap up regular season with win over 'Horns

The Bulldogs (no. 5 seed heading into the District 4C Tournament) almost pulled off the upset against the Mustangs (no. 1 seed heading into the District 4C Tournament) on senior night last Friday in Ekalaka. The 'Dogs got down a few points early but kept the game close all the way through, eventually losing by a seven-point margin at the end. Two Bulldogs finished the game with double-digit points, led by Kaleb Frye who had a big night with 19. Jordan's Porter Kreider led all scorers with 28, seven of which came from the free throw line. Jordan shot 14 of 24 on free throws; CCHS was only 1 of 6.

In their final game of the regular season on February 10th in Wibaux, the CCHS Bulldogs defeated the Wibaux Longhorns (no. 6 seed heading into the District 4C Tournament) by twenty points, 53-33. Eight Bulldogs scored. As a team Blue shot 6-10 from the charity stripe while Wibaux shot 4-11.

The District 4C Tournament is set to begin on Thursday, February 15th at Custer County District High School in Miles City. The Bulldogs' first game is versus the Terriers of Terry (no. 4 seed heading into the District 4C Tournament) at 2:30 p.m.
