Montana schools receive email threats

Numerous school staff at districts across Montana received email threats Tuesday night. The threats were not believed to be credible.

Ekalaka Public Schools announced Wednesday morning that schools in Ekalaka would continue with their regular schedule.

“We are aware that school officials across the state received threatening messages. These messages were not specifically targeting Ekalaka Public Schools. We have been in contact with local law enforcement, and we will take measures as a precaution, but we do not believe there is any abnormal threat to our school. We are planning on having school as normal.
