The Lady Bulldogs beat the Lady Cardinals in Bison, S.D. on January 6th by a wide margin, 27-70. As a team, CCHS shot 8-17 (47 percent) on free throws, 25-51 (49 percent) on two-pointers and 4-14 (29 percent) from behind the arc. CCHS also out-rebounded Bison, 36-27, and won the turnover battle, 14-24.
Four Lady Bulldogs finished the game with double-digit points, led by Kendra Tooke and Keli Melton who had 18 each. Danica Shepherd led the team in rebounds with 10.
This weekend, the Lady Bulldogs are scheduled to play at home versus Plevna and in Terry the following night. The games will be the first CCHS has played in Montana since Baker played in Ekalaka on December 19th. A game that was scheduled to take place in Broadus on December 22nd was postponed due to several ill Hawk players.
