EPS activities: A month of engagement and learning

Ekalaka Public School has experienced a whirlwind of activities this November. The month kicked off with an exciting "Monster Mashup Math Night" on November 9, where kindergarten through sixth grade students immersed themselves in a world of numbers and shapes. The event offered a plethora of activities, including the construction of 3-D shapes, engaging in mathematical ladder challenges, and playing games that combined fun with addition and strategy. The highlight of the evening was the competition for prizes, which saw enthusiastic participation from students and their families alike.

Adding to the month's festivities, November 20 marked the second quarter of "Breakfast with Bestie," a heartwarming event organized by the Counseling Program, FCCLA, and the EPS Title One program. This event provided an opportunity for students to start their day in the company of their closest companions - a family member, relative, or friend. The breakfast, featuring delicious donuts, was a moment for students and their besties to bond and express gratitude for their relationships.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the families and students who participated in these enriching activities. Your involvement and enthusiasm made these events a resounding success and a testament to our community's spirit.
