JH boys play in Broadus

Mother nature was in great distress for our games last week, so therefore our Saturday game was canceled and the trip to Broadus was long and slow driving. Thankfully, with the help of some courageous drivers, we made it safely to and from Broadus on Friday.

The Boys B Game was a close game the entire time, but the Bulldogs ended up with a win, 39-36! Cortland O’Connor had 26 points, 2 assists and 12 rebounds; Jenry Walker had 1 point and 1 assist; Grady Stieg had 7 points, 1 assist, 4 rebounds; Landry Shepherd had 5 points, 1 assist and 1 rebound; Bentley Jardee had 2 rebounds; Ben Enos had 3 rebounds; and Judd Walker had 1 rebound.

The Boys A team was outsized by quite a bit but still worked hard. Although we lost, we learned some ways to try to take away the inside game as much as we could. Gage Stieg had 11 points, 2 assists and 3 rebounds; Cortland O’Connor had 13 points, 2 assists and 5 rebounds; Bentley Jardee had 2 points and 1 rebound; Tiernan O’Connor had 19 points, 2 assists and 4 rebounds; Kinch Rost had 8 points, 3 assists and 4 rebounds; Colt Jesperson and Landry Shepherd had 1 rebound each.
