submitted by Eastern Plains Economic Development Corporation

Eastern Plains Economic Development Corporation recently announced the Eastern Montana Rural Childcare Roundtable to be held in Baker on October 12th. The roundtable will be held at The Coffeeshop on Lawlers at 21 Main Street, Baker. The workshop will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

EPEDC is asking community members, community leaders and childcare providers to come and participate in this discussion. The discussion will cover available resources for childcare in the Eastern Montana region. Help to identify potential areas of improvement within early care and education systems. EPEDC is partnering with the Southeast Montana Area Revitalization Team (SMART) as well as SBDC, GNDC, Zero to Five Montana, Fort Peck NABA, Family Connections MT, HRDC, and Prospera Business Network.

We'd love to see as many people as possible participate in this great community childcare discussion. The workshop is FREE but we do ask that you register. Light breakfast and lunch will be provided. For questions, please contact Vaughn Zenko of SMART in Baker at [email protected].
