Veterans Park progress

More progress was seen on the veterans memorial at Perso Park in Ekalaka earlier this week. Left, Ekalaka native Clinton Lesh stands next to the center wall of the memorial. Lesh, an artist currently residing in Belgrade, made the seals representing each military branch. On Monday he fastened them to the wall.

Two walls (one on each side of the wall shown above) that will bear the names of area veterans who have valiantly served their country have not yet been started as project organizers continue to raise funds.

Box 338, Ekalaka. Make checks payable to the Carter County Community Foundation and add Veterans Park in the memo line.
