An Ekalaka resident hit the lotto

The Montana Lottery has awarded $68,364 in high-tier prizes since September 18.

A high-tier prize is any prize of $600 or more. Winners of $5,000 or more are listed below and on Montana Lottery’s website.

A Post Falls, ID winner, playing Nothing But Cash!, claimed their prize of $25,000 on September 18. The winning ticket was purchased at the Town Pump of Great Falls on 700 10th Avenue D.

A Winifred winner, playing $5 Freedom Cash, claimed their prize of $5,000 on September 19. The winning ticket was purchased at the Winifred Tavern and Cafe.

An Ekalaka winner, playing Lucky for Life, claimed their prize of $5,000 on September 18. The winning ticket was purchased at the Farmers Union Oil Company in Baker.

The Montana Lottery was created by citizen’s referendum in 1986. Since then, it has paid over $853 million in prizes and returned approximately $320 million to the State of Montana and $90 million in sales agent commissions.
