Lady Bulldogs fall to Jordan, down NCTS

On September 15th, Bulldog volleyball teams traveled to Jordan to take on the Lady Mustangs. The JV girls lost in three straight sets to Jordan, 17-25, 13-25, and 13-15.

The varsity girls also lost to Jordan in three straight sets, 17-25, 24-26, and 20-25. As a team, the girls tallied five aces, 15 kills, 6 blocks, 34 digs and 15 assists. Nasya O'Connor led in aces (3), kills (8) and blocks (6). Kendra Tooke and Kendall Kittelmann tied for a team-high 7 digs. Danica Shepherd had 13 of the team's 15 assists.

On Monday, the Lady Bulldogs played a varsity match versus Northern Cheyenne Tribal School. CCHS defeated NCTS in three straight sets, 25-5, 25-15, 25-8. Head Coach Glen Frye went to his bench early and often throughout the contest. Danica Shepherd led the way for CCHS with 8 of the team's 31 aces and 5 of the team's 9 assists. Kendra Tooke and Nasya O'Connor each had 3 kills for the Lady Bulldogs.

This Saturday for homecoming, the Lady Bulldogs will play the Lady Cougars of Plevna. Next Thursday the girls play in Forsyth. On Friday, September 29th they play Savage at home.
