Floyd Hoover

Floyd Eugene Hoover was born July 3, 1928 to Robert Forest Hoover and Mary Alice Tuttle Hoover in Cheraw, Colorado. He went home to be with the Lord on August 3, 2023 at the age of 95.

Floyd grew up on a pig farm where he was raised in the Mennonite church. He attended Cheraw public schools for 12 years. During that time he shoveled coal off of box cars and worked for the Inge company. He left the Mennonite church to serve his country.
