On senior meals

Beginning July 1st, there will be some changes to the Congregate Meal program for Carter County. Welcome to Jimi Fix, the new congregate meal cook at the Senior Center.

We would like to extend our gratitude to Kathy Tobin and Lee Smith for their years of service.

Also, beginning in July there will no longer be "to go" meals available through the center. The emergency declaration that was in place during COVID has been lifted. Congregate meals are meant to be a social time as well as a nutritious meal. Area seniors are encouraged to go inside...
