Conversations with God

Hello God, it’s me, Mara:

You know, Lord, A DAY to remember our Mothers is Sunday. One chap wished to share a few thoughts: “I am made by God! And kiddo, you are made by God. Just as surely as ANY one, actually, every one of us, has been made by God, we have been made by Him and for Him. He knew us before anyone ever even knew we were there. God had plans for us before anyone planned our arrival and He made us so well! How do we know? Well, just look at all that God has made.

He continued, “I like Psalm 139: 13-14 as God speaks to us in the verse that says, ‘For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb.14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.’

“Isn’t that verse special for our Mother’s? I’ve given our Lord many thanks for my Mother, though she’s now with Him, she left a while ago; she was a special lady, she taught us well, how to be caring, loving and kind.”

Friend ‘P.W’ then asked if he could say a prayer to be shared with you, so here it is: “God almighty, my Savior and Redeemer, thank You for knowing me before I was able to know. Thank You for choosing my life and giving it to me. Thank You for giving me the gifts, abilities and talents that You have given me. Now please help me live as if I was made special by You, because I am. And Father, I thank you for the godly women who have shaped my life and helped me have faith...God, I thank you for the great women of faith in Scripture who did so much for your people, and thank YOU for my Mother. Through Jesus I pray. Amen.”
