What a guy

Hello God, it’s me, Mara:

Thank You, dear Lord, for our great guys; neighbors, family, and friends. They come when called or just show up –they’ve helped us through our ‘bends’. They’re likable and merry, too, they’re popular and blessed. It’s fun to have them visit us, they care and they’re the best. They’re friendly guys, devoted, too; sensible and supreme, Occasionally, they share a meal and some do like ice cream.

Some ‘arty’ ones just love to paint, they’re thoughtful, skillful, good. And some are strong and help a lot by carrying up some wood.

Endearing are the younger boys, they’re firm and honest too. They’ll come again when Grandma cooks, they really like her stew!

Astute, we know; Gramps, Dad, Brother; were strong enough to build. Their off-spring too, built great houses, for greatly were they skilled.

Jaunty and quick, in many things, and genuine and right; And through it all, lively they were; some worked into the night!

Kind and helpful, true and the best; powerful with good sense; Young and so strong, helped here and there, and could jump o’er the fence!

Pleasant to have, to ‘pop’ on in, a most welcoming guest, To know these guys who help us out – we truly are most blessed!

Humble they are, and a bit firm; but joyful, cheerful, too. Oh, what a guy, who calls on us, we’re blessed because of YOU!

No names given, but you know us and we know who you are! We thank you lots, cause just for us, you are a shining star!

These guys all have goodness in heart, according to God’s Word[1] To be with them, it blesses us, as our hearts’ love is stirred. We thank You, Lord, for blessing us with guys that You have made. They’ve helped us out with many things, You’ve blessed us as we’ve prayed.

Love, Mara
