The game of the week for CCHS basketball teams was the girls' varsity contest at home versus Jordan on Saturday night. It took two overtimes for the Lady Bulldogs to win. In the second overtime, CCHS pulled away by 10, but prior to that, it was indeed a back and forth battle, as has been the case when CCHS has played the Lady Mustangs most times over the past 2-3 years.

CCHS had as many turnovers (16) as steals, but an off shooting night, both from the field and from the line, kept Jordan in the game, The Lady 'Dogs went 18 of 36 (50 percent) on free throws and 25 of 64 (39 percent) from the field. Jordan won the rebound battle (34-33). CCHS had three players finish with double-digit points, led by Heidi LaBree with 20. Nasya O'Connor led CCHS in rebounds with 9. Lady Mustang Brooke Murnion kept Jordan in the game for most of the night but fouled out in overtime. She led all scorers with 30 points.
