The CCHS Bulldogs improved their record to 2-4 on the season with a win over Poplar at home on September 30th. The boys are 2-3 in conference as their other loss came in the season opener versus non-conference opponent Broadus.
The game against Poplar was in-hand early as CCHS took a first quarter lead and scored at will throughout most of the game. The 35-point running clock went into effect for a while, but Poplar was able to connect on a few deep pass plays and brought the game back under 35 on separate occasions.
