Netters pick up pair of conference wins

CCHS Volleyball picked up a pair of wins versus conference opponents at home last week. On Thursday, they defeated Wibaux in three sets, and they downed Plevna in three on Saturday.

Against Wibaux, CCHS won 25-11, 25-14 and 25-17. Carly Aho had 14 of Lady Blue's 20 assists in the contest. Codi Melton tied with Kendall Kittelmann to lead the team in digs (6). Melton, Heidi LaBree and Tyra O'Connor each had 2 aces. LaBree also had a team high 7 aces for CCHS.

Against Plevna set scores were: 25-8, 25-7 and 25-12. Aho led the match for CCHS in aces (4 of 19) and assists (10 of 15). Brynn Loehding and Kendall Kittelmann each had 3 digs and Nasya O'Connor had one block. Kendall Shepherd had 7 of the team's 19 kills.

On Thursday, the Lady Bulldogs will take on the Lady Hawks of Broadus at home. On Saturday they are scheduled to travel to Jordan.
