The Ekalaka Bump-N-Run was hosted on Saturday during the Days of '85. Racers came from all over Montana as well as North Dakota. It was the biggest car count the association has seen in years with ten modified cars and 16 super stock cars competing. There were three heats for the super stock; the top three went to the 'A' main and the rest to the 'B' main. The top two in the 'B' main then had the opportunity to jump up to the 'A' main to compete. There were two heats of modified cars and everyone raced for a position in the 'A' main.
It was a warm day with lots of good racing and a couple of dance competitions for the kids to win a shirt. The Bump-N-Run Association and organizers were thankful to all of the racers for traveling so far to put on a great show, as well as all of the people that donated, the volunteers and the spectators. It is because of these people that the association is able to give three scholarships. See you all in 2022!
