The public is invited to attend the Carter County 4-H and FFA livestock market sale on Saturday, August 13, beginning at 3:30 p.m. The annual sale will take place at the fairgrounds show arena in Ekalaka.
As always, buyers will have a choice in which processor to take their animal(s) to. The families of the youth selling their market animals will do their best to deliver the animals to the processor.
The 4-H/FFA Livestock Committee asks that buyers consider processors in the local area. Processing animals locally helps the families to deliver the animals and makes it easier when the time comes to grade the animals and record data.
The year, the sale will be offering beef, swine, lambs, goats, poultry, rabbits and even cakes.
Everyone is encouraged to come out and show their support to the youth who work so hard preparing for the sale.
