A family affair

Powder River/Carter County Farm Bureau recently held an online photo contest using the hashtag #prccowselfie encouraging producers to share pictures of their favorite bovine. In honor of National Agriculture Week, March 20-26, the bureau recently shared the winning picture from the contest.

The contest was open from February 26th through March 5th. In order to qualify, entrants needed to include a cow in the frame of the picture and like and follow the bureau on Facebook in addition to using the hashtag. The winner, Jill Herold, received a prize basket for a submitted photo, shown to the left, of her family at a branding.
