Lady 'Dogs topple Lady Longhorns

The CCHS Lady Bulldogs were on a roll Saturday when they defeated Wibaux at home by a 27 point margin. The offense was hitting on all cylinders as players hit shots from all over the floor. As a team they shot 22 of 52 from the floor (52 percent) and 17 of 21 (81 percent) from the charity stripe. Blue also went 45 percent on three-pointers and had more steals (18) than turnovers (15). Wibaux, meanwhile, had 24 turnovers. Nasya O'Connor recorded a double-double with 13 rebounds and 12 points. Heidi LaBree had a game-high 17 points and shot a perfect 7 of 7 on free throws. Annika Lunde led the Lady Longhorns with 15 points.

This Friday the Lady 'Dogs are scheduled to play the Lady Terriers for their last home game of the season. On Saturday, they wrap up their regular season at Custer/Hysham. The District 4C Basketball Tournament starts next Wednesday, February 16th.
