JV girls go 3-0

Kendra Tooke lit up the scoreboard with 24 points during the CCHS girls’ JV victory over Custer/Hysham on January 20 at home. She was one of three Lady Bulldogs to finish the game with double-digit points. CCHD hit 6 three-pointers in the game and seven players in total made their way into the scoring column as the girls cruised to a 41-point victory.

The JV girls got another win on Saturday at home over the JV Lady Broncs. The game was close throughout. CCHS was down by four at halftime, but outscored Melstone 18-9 in the third quarter and held on in the fourth to win by 3. Again, three players finished the game in double figures and seven scored in the contest. As a team, CCHS JV shot 63 percent at the free throw line. There was a total of 32 fouls in the game. Melstone’s Savannah DeJaegher led all scorers with 18 points.

In a half game against Broadus’ JV girls on Tuesday, CCHS won 24-14. Ekalaka led throughout the contest. CCHS JV went 1-4 on free throws; Broadus JV went 2-4. Zoie Rost was the Lady Bulldogs’ high scorer with 9 points.
