Lady Bulldogs drop weekend matches

The CCHS Lady Bulldogs played matches at home versus Wibaux and Broadus over the weekend.

On Friday, Blue lost to Wibaux in four sets; 25-21, 17-25, 23-25 and 16-25. CCHS had 57 digs, 26 kills, 21 assist, 13 aces and 4 blocks in the match.

Carly Aho led in digs with 13. Heidi LaBree led in assists with 12 and aces with 7. Codi Melton led in kills with 9 and tied with Katie Tooke for the lead in blocks with 2.

On Saturday, the Bulldogs fell to the Broadus Hawks in three straight sets; 16-25, 18-25 and 20-25. The Bulldogs totaled 15 assists and 17 kills while the Hawks had 30 and 32, respectivel...
