A few things for our Carter County residents:

FLU vaccine | If you interested in getting your annual Influenza vaccine, please call us to schedule your appointment. We have both adult and pediatric doses available.

COVID vaccine | We still have vaccine available if you are interested in receiving. We welcome you to call with questions you may have.

COVID testing | If you are experiencing any respiratory type symptoms and those more specific to COVID-19 such as loss of taste/smell, we encourage you to get tested. Testing for symptomatic individuals and for those who are close contacts of someone who tested positive for coronavirus, are free and facilitated conveniently car side at the County courthouse. Call to schedule or with questions.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month | Did you know? Other than skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common cancer among American women. Mammograms are the best way to find breast cancer early, when it is easier to treat and before it is big enough to feel or cause symptoms. Did you know? There are different symptoms of breast cancer, and some people have no symptoms at all.

Public Health department phone number is 406.775.6332. This number is a single call phone line. If we miss your call we encourage you to leave a message so we can get back in touch. Currently, the Public Health department is located in the basement level of the courthouse, east end of the building.
