On September 23, CCHS netters traveled to Broadus to face the Hawks.
The JV squad won in five sets over the Hawk (25-20, 25-19, 13-15, 11-15, 15-13).
Tracy Wilson had a nice game defensively, compiling 5 digs to lead the team. Kendra Tooke led the team in assists (5 of 9), and Tegan Williams led in kills (4 of 15). Brynn Loehding had a fine game serving, totaling 6 of the team’s 16 aces.
The varsity girls did not fare as well in Broadus, losing in three sets (17-25, 15-25, 23-25). Greta Barrett, Tyra O’Connor and Codi Melton each had 2 aces for Blue. O’Connor also had a team-high 5 digs. Katie...
