Make plans now for the pet parade

It’s too hot to be outdoors so why not stay inside, grab a cold drink, put your thinking caps on and create an idea for the pet parade! We always seem to have a great turn out in the audience so let’s give them the entertainment they deserve! Our judges are also looking forward to seeing what each entry has in store for them. Here is what you need to know:

Carter County Fair Pet Parade Friday, August 13

Theme: Hometown Heroes (just one category and same as the parade theme)

Prizes: 1st Place: $50; 2nd Place $30; 3rd Place $20; Best Trick Duo $25; $5 to each entry that didn’t receive a winning placement.

All prize money is donated by The Carter Co. Fair Board

The show begins at 12 p.m. behind the Events Center

Sign up entries from 11:15 a.m. – 11:50 a.m.
