On March 8th, Montana will be moving to Phase 1B for COVID vaccinations. This phase will include vaccinations for persons 60 years and older, and those with certain medical conditions not included in the original 1B plan. The public health department said that it would be beneficial to get an estimate of Carter County residents who are interested in receiving the vaccine.
Trish Loughlin, Carter County Public Health Nurse, can be reached by calling (406) 775-6332. This week, she is busy giving a second dose of the vaccine to residents. Loughlin is scheduled to be in Ekalaka on March 17, 18 and 26. She also plans on being in Ekalaka on April 1st, 6th and possibly on the 7th. Residents can contact the Public Health Department at (406) 775-6332.
