On January 19th, the CCHS JV girls lost a game in Broadus. CCHS JV was outscored by Broadus JV in every quarter. Kendra Tooke scored the only two points for the Lady Bulldogs in the first quarter and finished with a game-high 13 points. Taylor Hanson had 8 for Broadus.

The varsity girls cruised to a 21-point victory in Broadus. CCHS out-rebounded Broadus 33 to 26 and had seven fewer turnovers. As a team, the Lady Bulldogs shot 78 percent on free throws, 40 percent on field goals inside the arc and 31 percent from deep. Tyra O'Connor and Codi Melton each had eight rebounds for CCHS.

In Custer last Friday, the JV girls won by 20 points. Six players scored for the Lady Bulldogs, led by Kendra Tooke with 17. The JV squad went 12 of 23 on free throws as Custer/Hysham committed 21 fouls.

The varsity Lady Bulldogs also won by a large margin in Custer. CCHS forced 37 Custer/Hysham turnovers and only committed 14. Seven players scored for the Lady Dogs and four finished the game in double figures. Heidi LaBree led all scorers with 14 points. Kari Kittelmann and Ella Owen each had four rebounds. CCHS shot 15 of 25 from the free-throw line.

In a shortened JV girls game on Saturday in Melstone, the Lady Bulldogs lost, 15-31. The entire game was played four versus four since the Lady Broncs' JV squad only had 4 players suited. Avery Eike scored 22 points for Melstone in the contest.

The varsity girls' game in Melstone was a tight contest through three quarters before the Broncs eventually pulled away. The Lady Bulldogs were out-rebounded by the Lady Broncs (30-33) and they lost the turnover battle (13-8). As a team, CCHS shot 15 of 26 on free throws, 11 of 35 on two-point field goals and 2 of 21 on threes. Draya Wacker of Melstone led all scorers with 17 points. Ella Owen pulled in 9 rebounds for CCHS.
