Blood drive scheduled for Jan. 20 in Ekalaka

What are your New Year’s Resolutions? Vitalant and Darlene Carter-Rose encourage you to help meet the urgent need for blood and platelets by resolving to give blood this year starting in January, which is National Blood Donor Month.

The next blood drive in Ekalaka is scheduled for Wednesday, January 20 at Carter County Events Center. The drive will take place from 1:45 to 5:30 p.m.

Appointments can be made online by going to http://www.bloodhero.com and using sponsor code: Ekalaka. In addition, walk-ins are welcome.

Donors are asked to bring a photo ID as well as their donor card with them. As...
