Girls start season 1-0

The CCHS JV girls took on Wibaux in a shortened game on Saturday in what was the first action for the Bulldogs this basketball season. The season has started late due to COVID-19, and MHSA has put several guidelines and mandates in place that will make this year look a little different than previous years of Bulldog Basketball.

The number of fans allowed into the gym was limited Saturday. Players were given three tickets each to get family and friends in, managers were given one ticket each and coaches were given two tickets. Half of the gym's seating was shutdown as well. Players and coaches sat on one side of the gym while the limited number of fans were restricted to the other. Also new this year is that all Bulldog basketball games will be streamed on NFHS network. An online subscription will allow fans to watch any of the CCHS basketball games from anywhere.

In a half game, CCHS JV put up 11 while Wibaux JV had 10. Amaya Coleman was the game's leading scorer. She put up 5 for Ekalaka.
