Don’t wait any longer to get your ballot in the mail, local Election Administrator Pamela Castleberry is recommending.
At the very least, mail your ballot at least two weeks before Election Day, to ensure it has plenty of time to arrive. Mail ballots need to arrive by 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3 to be counted.
Guidance from the U.S. Postal Service gives voters more time to return their ballot. The Postal Service advises voters to mail their ballot at least a week before Election Day. Castleberry, though, encourage voters to mail their ballots as soon as they can. The sooner people mail back their ballots, the easier Election Day will go.
Ballots don’t have to be mailed. They can also be dropped off at the Carter County Clerk and Recorder’s Office, 214 Park Street in Ekalaka, Montana at the courthouse.
